Lead Pastor

Jeremy Lance

Jeremy has been serving God faithfully with his wife, Kali, in any way God has asked since 2013. Together they have served in Children's Ministry, Adult Small Group Ministry, owned and operated a Business as Mission, and served as full-time missionaries. Jeremy has also led Men's Ministry and served as Connection Pastor for Cross Point Church in Silver City, NM. They share a heart that desires to see God's Church equipped and sent out to operate in the callings and giftings that He has given his people, to see people find joy and fulfillment in using their gifts, and above all, to see the lost and seeking souls of this world find the peace and comfort in the arms of their Savior.

Jeremy and Kali have been married since June of 2003. They have two great kids, Crystal and Clay, a “bonus son,” Evan, and the sweetest granddaughter, Maisyn.

There are two passages of Scripture that really define who they strive to be.

Matthew 5:14-16 NLT

[14]  “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. [15] No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. [16] In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”

Isaiah 6:8 NLT

[8] Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.”

    Church Secretary

    Krista Hanks

Krista and her husband Andy, have been attending church here since 2014.  They reside in Hazleton with their 4 children.  Krista's favorite thing about her role as Church Secretary is getting to know and interact with the congregation and planning and organizing ways to love on people inside and outside the church.   She has a heart for helping others and her career in Occupational Therapy has helped prepare her to care for the church while sharing Jesus with those she encounters.  A favorite verse of hers is John 16:33 NLT " I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me.  Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world"

This verse has helped shape her testimony and one she turns to in times of temporary trials here on Earth.

      Worship Leader

      Randy Kendall

Randy is the Worship Leader here at HCC. He and his wife Kenna have 3 wonderful kiddos and 2 dogs. When asked about his role here at HCC he says that he loves this job for the connection with Christ. He says as he prepares for each Sunday morning, "I am reminded of how good God is. In never knowing Sunday’s sermon, he always provides the direction we need to serve his church!"

A favorite verse of his is 2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT: Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”

        Youth Leader and Church Treasurer

        Kenna Kendall

Kenna is married to Randy and they have three children, Bennett, Audrey, and Morgan. Kenna has been the Youth Leader at HCC since 2018 and the Treasurer since 2021. Kenna has a real passion for creating relationships with the teens of the church and helping them to foster their own relationship with Christ. The treasurer position came naturally to Kenna as she received an accounting degree from the University of Evansville in 2017. Kenna considers it a blessing to be able to use her degree to support the church. Her favorite Bible verse is 1 Peter 5:7. “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”
